Today, I had to host the church zoom room - luckily, it went well, and we got a lot of people on it.

It was a more normal Sunday for me, so I just went to Mum's house as usual, and we had lunch, had a walk, and we ordered my online shopping.

Yep, this day has been so average that there's nothing much more to blog about. See you tomorrow.

I was at church today welcoming people - the weirdest moment was when a guy rollerbladed in; turns out he's a new student, but he was so fast I didn't even get to hand him a service sheet - I saw him in the cycle lane, and because he had his face completely covered up, apart from his eyes, I wondered if he was someone looking for phones to steal, ( Read more... )

I took the family to my church's carol service today - it was good to have a trip into London, but unfortunately we had some loud teenagers shouting (and drinking) in the carriage, so it wasn't a fun journey. Then we got on the underground and a man started tap dancing (and shouting to passengers) in the carriage; it was a weird sight ( Read more... )

We all bought scones to share at church tonight, and had cream teas together - it was nice. We've not really reached a consensus as to whether the jam or cream goes on first, though - we all put cream on first.

It was a good excuse to see the church kitchen, which I'd never seen before, and hang around outside; the weather has been really hot this
